Lecture: “‘Prettier than any pleasure-garden she had ever been in before’: The prospective husband’s garden in Jane Austen.”

Dr. Rita J. Dashwood, who has recently received her doctorate from the Department of English and Comparative Literary Studies, University of Warwick, will talk about the role of gardens in the courtships of Jane Austen’s novels.
