DESCRIPTION:For those that missed Joe’s inspirational talk to us in January\, I am delighted to report that he is again fit enough to give his talk as The Gardens Trust Spring Lecture \nFinding my place: The Rediscovery and Restoration of Hagley ParkJ with Joe Hawkins MA\, Head of Landscape at Hagley Hall Park\, Worcestershire \nIn this illustrated talk Joe Hawkins will reveal his journey of discovery during the ongoing restoration of this once celebrated Georgian landscape which had lain neglected for a century and a half. Hagley Park’s main period of development occurred from 1747 and in its heyday drew visitors from around the world. This ambitious restoration will return it to its 18th Century glory. The park has now been designated a Grade I registered park of exceptional national importance and Joe is currently writing up his PhD thesis on the park. \nYour lecture ticket includes a drink and nibbles. \nRefund Policy\nNo Refunds \nWednesday 17th April 6pm\, lecture starts at 6.30pm
