DESCRIPTION:Aga Khan Islamic Gardens and Jellicoe Gardens\, London\nThe eight contemporary Islamic-style gardens in the Aga Khan Centre\, Kings Cross\, London\, range from contemplative courtyards inspired by Andalusia\, loggias evoking the Middle East\, to rooftop spaces echoing designs from South and Central Asia.\nThe nearby Jellicoe Gardens designed by Tom Stewart-Smith\, were based on the C16 Bagh-e-Fin in Iran\, and exhibit pools\, an open pavilion\, rills and soft scented meadow planting. The gardens pay tribute to the architect and garden designer Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe who was a founding member of the Landscape Institute. \nMeet at the Aga Khan Centre\, 10 Handyside Street\, 12:15 \nCost: The visit to the Aga Khan Centre and Jellicoe Gardens is free of charge.\nMeeting Time: 12:15\nAll members and guests will need to make their own way either travelling by train or other transportation to the Aga Khan Centre. Once at Kings Cross Station walk along the side pathway\, cross over the Regent Canal and cross Granary Square into Coal Drops Yard.
